For this project, students learned about shading in graphite and value and then had to divide a section of hte image and add analagous colors with color blending. I think the results were really awesome!

Art 1 Splatter Painting Project
For this project students had fun creating explosive colors with splatter painting! They drew out an object or anima in penci, then watercolored the drawing with regular watercolors in bright colors. Then they used liquid watercolor and a straw to create the explosions you see all around the pictures. Students really enjoyed this project!
