6th Grade Art

The 6th Graders also did a perspective project where they got to choose either one point, two point or three point and create their own work of art. I gave them allot of freedom on this project and some students did collage while others painted and still others used colored pencils. I like the diversity of the finished products and they look great too! Unfortunately, some of the artwork I did not get to post because it was so awesome! and the students wanted to give it away to Mrs. Mason before she left, a teacher who recently left our school. Enjoy the pictures below!

After perspective, I taught about the color wheel and students had to create a watercolor work of art that incoroporated colors that they mixed using the color wheel.

9th and 10th Grade Perspective Collage

The 9th and 10th Graders have been working long and hard on a perspective unit and just completed their final project. After learning how to do one point, two point and three point perspective drawings, they chose their favorite kind of perspective, came up with a design and then used magazines and wrapping paper to collage over the drawings. The final products look awesome!
