10th and 11th Grade Art



 For our second project, students studied the concept of Abstract art, looking at such artists as Wassily Kandinsky and Pablo Picasso. They then learned about the art elements of emphasis, variety and unity and were required to make their own unique work of art using these elements and 2-3 images of their choosing, while drawing inspiration from Kandinsky and Picasso. 8th and 9th Grade Art


For this project, students learned about the abstract artists Kandinsky and Picasso. They also studied 3 new elements of art: emphasis, unity and variety. They had to incorporate these elements into a work of art inspired by Kandinsky and Picasso that included 2-3 images of their own choosing. Enjoy!
